I've been to this Hunters a few times and it's enjoyable. Great place to watch the game if you are a sports fan and they have daily drink specials. Last time I was here we sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and gave me draft suggestions based off the type of beer I enjoy. I got the 3 queso burger, which was really good. At this location my boyfriend always gets the veggie wrap. (Unfortunately not available at the downtown Lafayette location!) The menu is very expansive, more so than downtown Lafayette, so there is something for everyone.

The boneless wing plate was well presented but inside was cheaper pressed chicken. the paste salad was terrific especially since you put own dressing on it. Have been there many times this was the first server that had a personality and was knowledgeable about the restaurant.

Had the Prime Rib and the Cajun Chicken Alfredo. Food was good, good portion sizes good value for the money. Came here based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Salad and soup were good. Place was clean and service was excellent!

Being so close to the Purdue campus I was worried it would be the typical "college bar". It was not!!!! This place has more than enough Tvs to catch the game of your choice. It also has a pretty decent alcohol selection. It is a pub after all. The food is well above "bar food" grade. They have the greasy bar food selection BUT they also have a very good sit-down restaurant selection as well. Over all a very good local neighborhood pub!!!!

This is a decent place to get a nice bite to eat and have a drink with your parents. Menu items can vary in quality but overall it's pretty good and is a nice step above typical bar food. TVs to watch the game in a nice low lit environment

Ordered the "MATADOR DIABLO" and it was off the chain. I love spicy food and this was fantastic! Made my whole head sweat, so the wife says "Why do you eat this stuff"? Cause it's awesome!! The wife has ordered the "THE DESPICABULL" twice and loves it. We are from Texas and this place is hands down the best food we have had yet in Indiana.

This is my parents' favorite bar, so when I am in town visiting them I like to come here with them. They don't have a drink menu, but have all their selections written on a giant blackboard on the far wall of the pub. Sometimes it's hard for me to read it if I am sitting on the other side of the bar, but I usually just ask the server to tell me what is available. Service is usually pretty great! The food here is decent, standard pub fare. I like their breadsticks and I had a good chicken sandwich here a few months back. I have been caught here a few times after the kitchen closes and can't get food (it stops at 11 I think?) which has been disappointing. All in all: fair prices, good service, decent food, good bar off campus and away from college kids!

Enjoy Hunter's regularly. Food is decent, staff is friendly. The Mexican dishes are surprisingly good for a noon Mexican place. Nothing fancy but a good, local spot to eat

I went here with my parents yesterday while visiting my sister at Purdue. FYI, this place only allows patrons older than 21. I got a chicken ceasar wrap without the dressing and with fries. It was fantastic. The ingredients were fresh and everything was served the right temperature. The fries were also excellent, but my dad said the curly fries were better. My mom said her burger was a bit dry, though. All in all, I loved my lunch and the service was speedy. There were also tons of televisions with a plethora of games to watch.

The food was really good. The service on the other hand was poor, in contrast to Hunters South which has good food and service.

This is a place I have been to many, many times. Every time I leave, I think that the place would be terrific they would just pay one minute's more attention. Service is just adequate. Food menu is immense, mainly fried, and mediocre. Beer selection is good and prices are reasonable, but it's just not quite there. Location is keeping them in business. Improve the food, reduce the bloated menu, crack the whip on the staff and this place could rock.

I went here late-night with a group of friends to watch the Purdue/Notre Game and get drinks and dinner. The atmosphere was great and the other people in the bar were respectful and slightly older. They were not all college students and they were watching the game with interest. The drink prices were average. I bought a long island iced tea for $3.75 and I ordered the nacho appetizers for around $7. The nachos were huge and I left satisfied and the drink was made very well. My friends ordered burgers, french dip sandwiches, wings, and beer. They all seemed satisfied as well. The service was excellent and I highly recommend this pub. For people who like to get away from the craziness of the campus bars for good food and drinks, this is definitely the place for you.

During my time as an undergraduate at Purdue University, this was the place I went during my Senior year. Its unfortunate I did not learn of Hunters a year prior. This is by far my most favorite bar in West Lafayette. Their food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. Each day of the week is a different drink special. Make sure to check out Tuesdays $2.75 draft Imports! As far as what food is good, there hasn't been anything I've ever ordered that was not good. I really enjoy the cajun chicken alfredo, chicken tortilla soup, $1 tacos, homemade chili, and the Sinful burger. If you are still hungry after the main course, try their desserts at well! The bartender Brian is also great at making ANY drink you want, but better. I highly recommend going to Hunters when he is working!

Wow!! I can't believe I was living in the area for so long before coming here.... It's a little hidden away and you might not see it unless you're looking for it. I have been a few times since my first visit and everytime I have left the place with a full stomach and a happy face.... A little more expensive than you would expect but the food is worth every single penny. The service is very good and the food comes out usually very quickly.

This place is great! It is everything you'd want and expect out of a pub. It's has a friendly atmosphere, good food, drink specials and sports on the televisions. The bartenders and servers are great! They will chat with ya, but not obnoxiously, answer your menu questions and even let you make special orders! The menu has variety and I have never been disappointed. The seats by the window do get a little drafty in the winter and the bar top seating is kinda set up a little strange, but now I am just nit picking! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

This place is one of my favorite all around pubs. I'd classify this as more of an upscale pub. The food is pretty good with some of the best bar-style burgers in the area. They offer a wide lunch menu with a decent dinner selection as well (steaks, chicken, pasta, fish). All lunch items are available for dinner as well. It is a 21+ only place. They also have a drink special each day and a highlighted dinner feature. Try the blackened catfish, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This place is okay for a smoke-free drink on the West side of the Lafayette area. The food is primarily fried and not all that great. Lots of TVs and sporting events, but mostly an older crowd if you want to avoid the college students. Although they have a big board with steaks on the wall, I've tried them multiple times and been unimpressed.

Splendid service, good food and a decent selction of drinks. The food menu needs some serious non bar food addtions if it needs to draw in a dinner crowd. All in all not a bad place.

This place is a hidden gem on the west side, with good food, great drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. If you want to get away from the campus scene, and enjoy a beer with good food this is the place to go. The only downfall is it seems that there is usually only one or two servers on duty at any one time and service can be a little slow. However, they are usually very apologetic, and efficient at keeping your drinks full. Try the catfish or anyone of the hot sandwiches.
